Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof attacked in jail by a fellow inmate
Dylann Roof, the 22 year old white male charged in the massacre of nine black church goers during a Bible study at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, was assaulted Thursday by a black inmate, 26 year old Dwayne Stafford, while in the showers in prison.
Naira hits 400/dollar as banks sell forex to BDCs
The naira plunged to 400 against the dollar at the parallel market on Thursday as shortage of foreign exchange continued to have negative effects on economic activities in the country.
The local currency had closed at 390 against the greenback on Wednesday.
The shortage of forex at the interbank and the black market has continued to weigh on the value of the naira.

BREAKING NEWS: Several US police officers shot in Baton Rouge
At least three police officers were shot in Louisiana on Sunday, officials said.
“Several officers were struck by gunfire,” Baton Rouge police spokesman Don Coppola told local television station WAFB.
