Giggs joins Scholes, Ronaldinho and Deco in Indian Premier Futsal League

Ryan Giggs is set to take part in the inaugural Indian Premier Futsal League. The Premier League's most decorated player left his post as assistant coach at Manchester United earlier this month after facing a demotion under Jose Mourinho's new regime. And his next step will be to join up with the likes of former team-mate Paul Scholes in India. The competition begins this Friday in Chennai and Goa and runs until July 24. Other big names set to take part in the competition include Hernan Crespo, Deco and Ronaldinho. The organisation itself - Premier Futsal - is run by former Barcelona and Real Madrid star Luis Figo. Futsal is an indoor, five-a-side version of football using smaller balls and hard pitches.
