Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Gareth Bale’s performance for Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Gareth Bale’s performance for Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday evening.

Bale started the match for Madrid against city-rivals Atletico Madrid at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

It was expected to be a fiercely-fought and tight encounter, and it proved to be so. Zinedine Zidane’s Madrid took the lead in the final after just 15 minutes when Spain international defender Sergio Ramos scored from close range.

Yannick Carrasco equalised for Atletico in the 79th minute, as the final went into extra time and eventually penalties.

Madrid won the penalty shootout 5-3, with Bale making no mistake with his spot kick. The Wales international winger did not have a great game overall, though, as his performance was not one of his best.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Bale for Madrid against Atletico.
